Region P Awards

Region P is proud to recognize outstanding members, chapters, and alumni for their contributions to leadership, friendship, and service at every Regional Conference & National Convention through various individual and chapter based awards.

Nominations are now open for the awards listed below, which will be awarded at the 2025 National Convention in Philadelphia, PA. Please take this opportunity to recognize those who have truly made an impact in our region!

General Eligibility: Any chapter or brother with a connection to Region P is eligible, except the regional chair and awards coordinator.

Nomination Process: Nominations will only be accepted via the Google Form linked below. Nominations can be submitted by any active, advisor, alumni, or new member for any active, advisor, alumni or new member. You may submit additional documents/videos/etc. (up to 10 minutes for slideshows, 15 minutes for videos) to demonstrate how the nominee meets award criteria. A separate Google Form submission is required per nomination. There is no limit to how many nominations a nominee can submit.

Deadline: Nominations are due by Monday, December 1st, 2025, 11:59 PM. Nominations will then be compiled and reviewed during National Convention. Awards will be presented at National Convention, but attendance is not required in order to receive an award.

  • Region P Distinguished Service Key

    A key hung from a red ribbon, engraved with the name of the recipient and the date of the presentation, awarded to a brother for exemplifying the cardinal principles of Alpha Phi Omega and unselfishly providing exceptional service to the region over a sustained period of time. This shall be the highest award the region may present. No recipient of this award may receive it a second time.
  • Robert J. Hilliard Award of Dedication

    Awarded to a brother who demonstrates commitment to all three cardinal principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service at a regional or national level, who encourages leadership development, service opportunities and brotherhood bonding in intra-chapter and/or inter-chapter settings through attendance and support of chapters’ events and inter-chapter activities.
  • Region P Leadership Award

    Awarded to a chapter in Region P whose chapter program has exemplified the cardinal principle of leadership.
  • Region P Fellowship Award

    Awarded to a chapter in Region P whose chapter program has exemplified the cardinal principle of service.
  • Region P Scouting & Youth Services Award

    Awarded to a chapter in Region P who has shown outstanding involvement with a scouting and/or youth services organization.
  • Region P Membership Award

    Awarded to a chapter in Region P whose chapter program includes the most well developed membership program.
  • Region P Phenomenal Volunteer Team Member Award

    Awarded to a non-active volunteer who serves the Fraternity by serving either as a member of sectional volunteers and/or regional volunteers who has provided exceptional service in their volunteer role.
